Inspired by some time spent in California in 1982, Nicola Catena, holder of a doctorate in Economics, led the way in the wine revolution of the 1980s/1990s that swept Argentina and that transformed a country of bulk wine production into one producing fine wine. Catena is still at the fore front of wine innovation and quality. Nicola Catena has now been joined at the helm of the winery, by his daughter Laura, herself a graduate from Harvard and Stanford University. Laura shares the vision and the passion of her father and it shows in the wines that regularly achieve high ratings in top wine publications. Tonight, we are delighted to have with us the talented Mariela Molinari, a senior wine maker at the winery, who will
take us through some of the delicious wines of Catena. If you like smooth
Malbec of great character then this is the evening for you.

There is a special offer for those attending the wine dinner of only £125 per bedroom (including Full English breakfast) for that Sunday evening.
