With dishes described as "original clever cooking", "art on a
plate" and "faultless execution " by the respected Great British Menu judges,
Alan's four course menu saw him crowned champion of the Scottish region. Alan
was narrowly piped to the post in the national finals achieving second place in
two courses, a truly fantastic result in a competition featuring 24 of the UK’s
finest chefs.
