Hotel TerraVina Goes Green by Hiring Christmas Trees

... who is a tree surgeon, of 20 years standing, passionate about trees and better known as the “ChristmasTreeMan.co.uk”

The trees are being delivered, in pots, complete with their roots intact, with a feeding and watering system at the start of December. Once Christmas is over and the decorations are all packed away the tress will then be collected and returned to their forest home, where they continue to live and grow ready for renting out again next year. A donation from each rented tree is made to various charities, including Dorset Wildlife Trust, Help for Heroes and the Woodland Trust.

This year’s profits are also planed to be used to help encourage children to learn to recycle

All in all a fantastic idea which we at TerraVina are thrilled to be supporting.
