Jean Bousquet; an Argentinian Wine Evening
May 16th 2010
With Mr Labid Ameri, son-in-law of Jean Bousquet who fell in love with Argentina and moved there to open his winery in 1997 in Tupungato, an area in the Mendoza region.
Four course dinner
£75 per person
Aperitif from 7.00pm
If Chivite is a well established winery, Jean Bousquet is an extremely recent one. Jean Bousquet was born in Carcassonne, France, but he fell in love with Argentina and moved there to open his winery in 1997 in Tupungato, an area in the Mendoza region. The grapes are organically grown and the wines have already received some great reviews; in particular from the all powerful Mr Robert Parker. Tonight, the son in law of Jean Bousquet and a Vice-President of the company, Labid Ameri, will be with us to describe and explain the wines. So lovers of great Malbec do not miss the evening!
