Mulled Wine Recipe
The TerraVina mulled wine recipe from our cocktails maestro, Laurent Richet, Master Sommelier.
Please note,
mulled wine is not served at Hotel TerraVina.

In a pan on medium heat:
*
200ml red wine (the fruitier the better and medium to full-bodied)
*
50ml Dark rum
*
1/2 an Orange with 2 cloves picked in it
*
1/4 of a cinnamons stick.
*
50 grams of Demerara granulated sugar. (more or less depending of people liking)
Let it simmer for a good 10 minutes and give ita few stirs. Then pass it through a sieve into a mug ready to be enjoyed and garnish with an Orange peel.
Ensure you just simmer the wine and not boil it.
(While preparing it, always taste it to adjust the cocktail if needed.)
