For this evening, Laura, Head Sommelier, and Alan, Head Chef, have exchanged ideas to design a four course dinner with a wine to match each of the courses.

Laura has been with us from the very beginning of Hotel TerraVina.
She graduated from Uwic (Cardiff) University in 2004 with a BA Honours in International Hospitality Management. In June 2008, Laura won the Chaine des Rotisseurs UK Young Sommelier of the Year and later during the year she went on to finish second in the International Final of the same competition taking place in Vienna. However, in 2009 she did even better as she won the prestigious UK Sommelier of the Year sponsored by Charles Heidsieck and Piper Heidsieck Champagnes.
Alan has been with Hotel TerraVina for a little more than a year, starting as our second chef before being quickly promoted into the position of head chef. Previously, Alan worked as Senior Chef de Partie in prestigious places in Mayfair (Patterson’s restaurant) and Knightsbridge (St Quentin) where he honed his considerable skills. Prior to that he worked in Switzerland and did his apprenticeship at the Savoy in London. His style of cooking is of Mediterranean influence with fresh and bold flavours coupled with attractive colour on the plate.

Special Sunday Night and Monday Night Rates
If you’d like to make the most of this enjoyable wine event, there’s a special rate for those attending of only £120 per bedroom (including full English breakfast) for the Sunday night.
You might also be tempted to stay Monday as well, in which case, we’ll make the temptation overwhelming with an offer of only £205.00 per bedroom (including dinner, bed and full English breakfast) for the Monday evening.
The Sunday and Monday night rates are only available to those who attend the event and include VAT but do not include drinks and incidentals.
