Doesn’t the world seem a brighter and better place when the sunshines. The start of this week has bought glorious sunshine, birdsong and Spring flowers to the forest making it feel even more magical and special. We are all feeling lighter in step, cheerier and full of Springtime energy and we are looking forward to decorating the hotel (just a little bit) for Easter, munching on chocolate Easter eggs and welcoming many returning guests to enjoy the sunshine with us.
We are all self confessed chocaholics here at TerraVina- there isn’t a service goes by when we don’t have a box or a bag of chocolates open and at the ready- chocolate makes the day go by easier, stops us remembering our feet are hurting and ensures we keep on smiling- thus Easter for us is one of the team’s favourite times of the year.
As Romané is off for a whole month over Easter I have been juggling working at the hotel and being at home with him- now the pool is open at the hotel that helps as he can come in to work with me, spend the day in the pool and then come home with me later in the evening- at least that way Gerard and I get to see him, but in addition I have tried to have a few days off with him and this week we are taking my god-daughter to the newly opened Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park, which is a fantastic place for children of all ages (and the grown ups have great fun too!) We are taking a picnic, suncream and sun hats and I am looking forward to meeting Peppa and George- in fact don’t tell anyone but I am very excited!!
