Residential Wine Weekend with a Barossa Valley Shiraz Master Class on Saturday morning. On the Friday evening, a divine Barossa Valley Shiraz will also be served to accompany the informal supper. If you enjoy your wine, what better way to spend a weekend than in the company of one of the world’s most celebrated sommeliers, Gerard Basset.
Hotel TerraVina is now renowned for its wine events, especially the wine weekends. Gerard is an excellent host and tutor. These occasions are always thoroughly enjoyable with everyone having a common interest in wines.
Arrive in plenty of time to relax and enjoythis remarkable, award-winning boutique hotel and the special attention. The weekend starts on Friday evening with an aperitif followed by an informal supper in the Rutherford Bench. On the Saturday morning, Gerard will host his Barossa Valley Shiraz Master Class. On the Saturday evening, there will be a three course dinner in the ‘sexy’, California style restaurant that redefines the hotel dining experience. There’s always a special intimacy permeating the restaurant that imbues most diners with a real enthusiasm for the moment.
The Residential Wine Weekend
£650 per couple
This two night break includes:
- two nights accommodation
- breakfast for the Saturday and Sunday mornings
- the Friday Supper and the Saturday three course dinner
- the wines for the aperitif, tasting and supper on the Friday evening
Gerard will also be delighted to show you round the cellars of Hotel TerraVina
Our wine dinners take place in our Rutherford Bench private room. The lay out of the room is made of three large tables accommodating a maximum of 12 people each. On that basis, small parties, couples or single guests will be seated together to form a table of 12.
Special Sunday Night and Monday Night Rates
If you’d like to make the most of this enjoyable wine weekendt, there’s a special rate for those attending of only £100 per bedroom (including full English breakfast) for the Sunday night.
You might also be tempted to stay Monday as well, in which case, we’ll make the temptation overwhelming with an offer of only £150.00 (including dinner, bed and full English breakfast) for the Monday evening.
The Sunday and Monday night rates are only available to those who attend the Barossa Valley Shiraz Wine Weekend and include VAT but do not include drinks and incidentals.
